Fetzer: Basnight’s Criticism of John Davis Another Indication that the Democrat Leadership is Desperate

RALEIGH — NCGOP Chairman Tom Fetzer released the following statement today:

“Senator Marc Basnight’s recent shot at John Davis was a misfire.  It was also an act of desperation by a man clinging to 20 years of unbridled power in the North Carolina Senate.  For most of the last quarter century, John Davis was one of North Carolina’s most knowledgeable political analysts and one of its most accurate political prognosticators.  Indeed, his predication that the Republicans would win a majority in the N.C. State Senate in 2008 was correct, just two years too early.”
