7th District GOP Campaign Training attracts tremendous crowd
Saturday’s 7th District GOP campaign training, which was held at the Brunswick County Republican Headquarters in Bolivia, attracted more than 70 people from eight counties in southeastern North Carolina. Numerous candidates attended, and Republican campaigns from nearly every major legislative race in the 7th Congressional District were represented.
“The level of interest in this campaign training tells me that Republicans in southeastern North Carolina are serious about doing what it takes to win elections in November,” says Frank Williams, 7th District GOP Chairman. “Conservative Republicans are stepping up to the plate throughout southeastern North Carolina and are ready to lead the fight to restore common sense to Congress and the legislature.”

Massachusetts has Spoken; Now, Let’s Speak Up in Southeastern NC
What a great day for conservatives with Republican Scott Brown’s stunning victory in Massachusetts!
Scott Brown’s victory is a tremendous repudiation of the Obama administration’s liberal policies by the voters of a state that President Obama carried by a large margin and which, as we all know, has long been one of the Democrats’ biggest strongholds.
Now that the voters of Massachusetts have spoken, we must once again speak out here in North Carolina. As you may know, there have been rumors in recent weeks that the Democrat leadership is putting pressure on Congressman Mike McIntyre to vote for the healthcare “reform” bill when it once again comes before the House.
