GOP organizations holding 7th District Congressional candidates’ forum in Brunswick County on Mar. 18
BOLIVIA, NC – The 7th Congressional District Republican Party is teaming up with the Brunswick County Republican Party, Brunswick County Republican Women’s Club and Lower Cape Fear Young Republicans to sponsor a forum featuring Republican candidates for the 7th Congressional District seat. The forum will be held Thursday, Mar. 18, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Brunswick County Republican Headquarters, located at 971 Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia.
“Under the Democrats’ one-party rule in Washington, we have seen unprecedented increases in spending, debt and government expansion,” says Frank Williams, Chairman of the 7th District GOP. ”The 7th District Congressional Primary on May 4 will determine which candidate carries our party’s banner this November. We invite Republicans and unaffiliated voters to attend this event, get to know our candidates, determine which of them they feel should carry the Republican banner in November, and then get involved with the campaign of their choice. This is an important election, and conservatives need all hands on deck if we are going to inject some much-needed integrity, common sense and fiscal responsibility into our government.”
The 7th District Republican Party will be working with counties throughout the district to organize forums. Dates and times will be posted on the 7th District Web site as they are finalized.
